Holy Mass Holy Thursday. The Holy Thursday Mass formally known as the Mass of the Lords Supper is the first event in the Easter Triduum which includes the Easter Vigil on Saturday and culminates on Easter Sunday. Liturgical Colour. After Holy Thursday no Mass will be celebrated again in the Church until the Easter Vigil celebrates and proclaims the Resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ. The Chrism Mass is to be held at St Peters Basilica at 930am local time CEST on Thursday 14 April 2022.
