Officer Involved Shooting Joplin. Benjamin Cooper a 19-year officer was killed in Tuesdays incident in Joplin Missouri officials said. One Joplin Police Officer is dead and two others were injured Tuesday afternoon after an altercation with a suspect.
Davis arrived at Ninth Street and Connecticut Avenue on Tuesday afternoon just before Felix shot the last of the three officers there. During the over two hour incident a member of the Joplin SWAT Team was involved in a shooting on scene.
Police identified the man shot as 31 year old David Ingle.
